     The club will host an Illinois Archery Association Spring Opener on Sunday May 6.  This shoot will be an International round held on the practice range.  Targets from 20 to 65 yards will be used for this shoot. A shoot that could be held on the practice range was chosen to avoid any wandering mushroom hunters.
     This year at the Marigold Festival the Pekin Archers will have a booth.
The club will need many volunteers to cover the whole weekend of the festival.  Volunteers will be assisting children as they shoot at targets.
If you are interested in being a volunteer please contact one of the club officers.
     There will be a work party on Saturday May 19th at 9:00 am. We will be cleaning up trails and putting down mulch.
    A reminder, shirts and hats with the club logo are still available at every
shoot.
